Adaptive Headlights
This question is for all members that have adaptive headlight (Dynamic Headlights). I notice when I hit a bump my light shakes, not the outside but the projector. The functions up, down, left, right are all active, I just notice when I was behind a vehicle I hit a bump the light shakes. Is this a upcoming issue or I need to look deeper into loose parts internally.
Thanks Fest for the help.

Large or small bump? Large bump, probably normal. I notice a bit of shaking on both my E60 and E66 with dynamic lights if on rough road.

That's what I notice but I think if held by two motors it should be more stable, but I could be wrong.

When you start the vehicle, watch the initiation sequence of the lights of the wall and see if both are tracking the same; I have the shaking issue with my driver's side light and on startup it does not track vertically like the passenger light does so I am assuming it is off the vertical track. It still tracks left and right with the wheel.

Yes it does, my passenger side is behind the movement if you look at it on the wall. the full motion is there but it move up and down slower than the left side.

Check If the projectors are pointing at the same direction when starting or make sure projectors are at the same height because I had the same issue with my old 7 that one was pointing down

That's the thing, the full track movement is there but its slower than the drivers side only on the up and down motion. The side turns they both are on point, the lights have the same angle and point of projection. My only concern was the shake when you hit a bump, to me it was a little too much. Just trying to get more knowledge.

The side to side movement should be the same rate though, turn the wheel and watch them move together with minute steering input (only to the right of course). The shaking over bumps could be from the rims maybe, (if you have) or a suspension replacement needed soon. I don't know how bad yours is shaking, but my buddy's E90 drivers light came off track from hitting a big bump and he got an adaptive headlight warning along with the blinking green light. He's on factory run-flats, which are brutal. Turned out to be an $1800 CPO repair.
