New "Multi-function display" won't switch to Sport mode.

New to the forum, but has anyone else experienced this problem? Just picked up my 2013 550ix yesterday. Gorgeous car, but no one could at the dealership could figure out why the black panel display won't change into Sport mode (where, for example, the speed becomes a large number in the center of the speedo). Thanks for any help!

That's an easy one, because its not available in the USA at this time. It's a shame your dealership doesn't know that!

If your car has HUD, you have the current 6WA extended contents meaning only the lower portion of the display is digital. The speed dial contents are fixed and do not change. The "new multi-function display" you write of is not currently available here in the U.S.

Eww, that's rather Honda-ish, isn't it? I don't need a big number to see what speed I'm going -- that's just me.

Dohhh! But thanks for the info! And I agree that it's more "kinda neat" than important. I'm mostly disappointed that you can download the owner's manual OR build the car on the website and still not be sure what you'll actually get.
