Say hello to me new E60.

I've had a 540i for about a year and a half now, and have just recently purchased this beautiful 2010 550i M Sport with 40,000 miles on it and is warranted until 100,000 including maintenance such as brakes, oil changes, etc. cost me right around 47k after tax.

Beautiful car and a good choice (I am one of those that does like the E60's styling).

What major differences did you notice drive-wise?

I'm not a huge fan of the E60 but i do like the way they did the M-Sport Pkg. Very nice car!

Looks like it needs some spacers though, Fill it out more.

E60, yawn. For an E60 though great color/interior combo

You'll be back!! But anyway congrats on the upgrade. The one thing will probably stand out the most is the somewhat electric steering at low speeds. Nonetheless black on saddle is lovely and that thing is a pure rocket!

The color of this vehicle is not black. It is called Carbon Black and it's really not black at all, it has a dark navy/blue color to it, really beautiful at night and during the day. I LOVE the 19 inch wheels on this! Just Beautiful!

Going from 280 HP to 370HP is a big jump of course, but that is not why I bought this car, if this did not have the M-sport package, i definitely would NOT have purchased it. This car is really well made. If you think the E39 is a great guy, think again. This is by far the best BMW i have ever driven. (i've driven M5's Z4's Z8's, 3 series, new 3 series) This is one sweet machine.

The handling absolutely superb, you really don't even feel like you're driving. The navigation and rear heated seats make this car complete. Acceleration is truly phenomenal.

I know some of you are not very big fans of E60's and I was the same, i never thought once I would buy an E60, if you read my old posts, you'll find me talking about how ugly i thought he E60 was, but i guess it grew on me.

Steering is much firmer than the E39, which I think makes a BMW a BMW. Without the steering, I don't think anyone would be here on this board.

To conclude this post. If you are looking for a car this IS IT. an Overall beauty, power, sporty, luxury, classy, Just perfect! I take my hat off for BMW.

At the end of the day, i don't have to worry about no leaking gaskets, o-rings?? water pumps? all those annoying things. For once i can drive a BMW peacefully.

Price is a little steep, but great choice for DD - I always liked handling of 550i M

very nice car, i love the m sports. you are also a nice guy for making that salesman's mortgage payment for this month by paying that price. but hey, as long as you're happy that's all that really matters

Not to be hattin', but i'll give you a week, when you visit the e60 board, and they be talking about problems after problems. All cars have some kind of problems, its a curse...

Nonetheless, it looks nice!

Is it just me or you guys don't think that it is overpriced? 47K.... I just did a quick search on autotrader and was able to find 2010 550 with msport for 36k with very similar milage. Regardless, enjoy the car. If you're happy with it that what it counts

It was 42k actually. After tax and all that good stuff it ended up coming to 47k. Keep in mind that this car is certified pre owned with warranty and maintenance coverage up to 100k. and this is truly a clean car.

yea, certification does cost few extra grand so the price does seem right now. Car looks very nice, I'm glad you like it.

Carbon Black when clean and waxed is an incredible color. Love that color.
