Seat tilt
So my driver seat gear is broken, but I don't really care to mess with fixing it (no time/money at the moment plus it's 30 degrees out)
What I would like to do is simply tilt the seat back up towards the steering wheel a bit. It's got a wicked gangster lean to it currently, making the car very uncomfortable and dangerous to drive right now. Come summer I will start tearing things out and fixing them but as for now, is there any quick fix?  328i sedan

Yeah, as mentioned above, the only way to get it back up is to fix the gear. Do you have a second car which you can drive while you fix the seat in your BMW?

$40 gear and you'll need some hex keys (allen wrenches). Pretty easy to do, once you get the seat out of the car. Check my fixit thread.

Sumthin funny going on with the quote/link function. That redirects to a forum thread ladder, not your fixit thread. Chad's quote in the OT thread was supposed to be a posting by df, but it sends you to a general BMW forum thread from ELEVEN years ago.
