Serious Tires....and the many iterations of the MPG Bar / Text
So, I've recently upgraded my car to M5 spec....in tires that is, anyway, LOL. Got myself a nice set of Pilot Super Sports. What an upgrade over those POS runflats. Quieter, grippier, better feel, etc. Just what a difference.
 While my car was in, it had the software updated to fix my trunk coding issues (Shawnsheridan activated close trunk from the remote but it disabled the interior trunk button even when he tried to undo what he had done. Strange.). I noticed that afterward, my MPG meter looked different and the numerals were in a smaller font. Since I am insane, I happen to have pictures of all three iterations of the MPG meter my car has been through. Yes, I am THAT guy. Original. Plain red bar, no orange highlight:  First update, added orange highlight.  Second update, smaller numerals.  Verrrrrry strange.

These tires are really superb. Transform the car IMO. Good move.
But what are you doing for winter? Did you see the new Pilot AS3? Apparently the all season version of the PSS. Does it snow in Houston or is it a non issue? Also your new house in the background looks like it might be bigger?

I guess in Texas one needs no snows...
Way to go Needs, nice tyres and no more pot holed roads to complain about. I have my winters on for another 3 months, can not wait to put the M pss-es back on!

Congratulations on both a decision to go with normal tires and on a choice of tire. Here's hope you will enjoy them as much as I do enjoy mine. I just noticed how much I miss them with winter setup on.

Just looked up the PS AS3....not out until next Summer. Those would have been my choice in VA for sure.

Congrats on getting the PSS. Unfortunately, you may need to travel a long distance to find some twisty roads in the Lone Star State.
