Monitoring Tire Pressure

I have a 2011 335d. It has TPMS but only alerts if tire pressure is really low, i.e., there is a flat tire. Is there any way to get this system to show actual pressure for the tires?

Thanks

The alert normally appears when a tire is 25% below the baseline pressure at last reset. This should allow you to re-inflate (if you carry a 12v compressor) and limp to a repair facility without destroying the tire.

The only way I know of reading the actual psi from the TPMS system is to buy a car whose maker chooses to provide that info. BMW, unfortunately, is not one of them.
