Hi All. I live on Vancouver Island and currently have a 1993 325is which I have had for 14 years, Eibach, adjustable trailing arms, strut towers and 225-45 17" wheels, it has now 102,000 kilometres. Also have a 2004 330i, six speed with 99,000 kilometres. I have owned BMW since 1977 (new 320i) and am wanting to add an e 36 M3 (Japanese/Euro 286 hp) or an e 46, have not made up my mind yet, like both but the steering on the e 36 is better for me as I don't like the "dead" on centre of our newer car. I am not fond of any BMW's newer than 2005 (e 90's) as the many friends I have who own them complain about the run flat tires, lack of dipstick as well as 4 catastrophic motor failures on low mileage cars. I am hoping to learn more about living with older M3's from the others here.

Roads
We are on Vancouver Island (Victoria is at the southern end) Island is about 300 miles long and yes, the north half has amazing roads with very little traffic. Good place to own a BMW.
