BMW Projector retrofit

Hi I'm new to the forum and have seen alot of use full information that has helped me with my 7, I now question if its possible to Retro fit different projectors into the pre facelift 2003 e65, if anybody has any info on this or has done this before you're information would be use full!

Yes there is a way but it's expensive. You actually have to change the front bumper to the post face lift because the curvature of the new headlights are slightly different. There was an expert user on here (AceFX) who was the godfather of upgrades and retro fits but I don't think he's on here anymore.

His question is on upgrading the projectors not to convert it to look like facelift .

There is a way but you have to cut/bake open up your headlights and change out the stock projector lens and fit the new one with these.. ZKW-R LENS

as for my e66 i am working on the new LED's headlights system for the newer BMW's .

The pre-facelift 7 with optional Adaptive Headlight Leveling (AHL) uses projectors for both inner and outer lights.
