When I started up my 550 yesterday I had an icon of a car with arrows pointing towards the front and back. Hat is this... Mark

Transmission is not engaged in PARK (probably in Neutral) when the key was removed.
The message is to warn the driver the car may move forward or back since the gear is not in PARK.

Car telling you either you tried to engage a gear and didn't (din't push the unlock button on the autotransmission) or the car is in neutral. Just a warning that the car can move forward or backwards.
