Problem with comfort access

I did ED on my 2013 GT. The comfort access worked for 2 days in Germany before deciding I needed a key to open or lock the door. Now in PA, this car has been to the dealer thrice to deal with this issue. Sometimes it works and sometimes I have to drop everything to dig through my purse to find my key. This is my third BMW with comfort access and no prior problems. Has anyone else had this problem?

I've found if my key is in close proximity to my cell phone (if one is on top of the other in my pocket, for example) comfort access will not work until I rearrange my key in my pocket so that it isn't blocked by my phone in any way. It's far more sensitive to radio interference than my Audi smart access key I had previously.
