Ready to put an order for an Xi and wondering how much should I be paying over invoice, here is the configured price:
Code 2013 X1 xDrive 28i MSRP Invoice N20 TwinPower Turbo aluminum straight-4 32,350 29,760 A83 Glacier Silver Metallic 550 500 4AT High-Gloss Black Trim LUTZ Leather “Nevada” Coral Red Leather 2A2 18” Alloy wheels Double Spoke ZMV Ultimate Package 6,650 6,055 ZSL Sport Line 1,900 1,730 ZCW Cold Weather Package 700 640 6NR BMW Apps 250 230 6UH Real Time Traffic Information 6WA Instrument Cluster extended content 6NF Smartphone Integration Del Destination 895 895 TRA Training Service 180 Total------------------------- 42,395 39,990 I saw a few posts stating 500 over invoice is doabe so I guess ($39,990+$500)=$40,490 is the offer i should be making. Also wanted to purchase the BMW Maintenance program (extended warranty) that MSRP is $2,095 not sure what is the invoice or markup on this price please let me know if you were successful in negotiating this. Another question I do have a trade in, is it better trade it in at current dealer or work 2 different deals. I am approve by BMW financing so I am assuming I will be getting the holiday promotion. Thanks for your input. |

I got $2500 more from Carmax than the trade-in offer the dealer made (2009 E90 335i, just under 4k miles).

Thanks for the feedback, trade it in at the dealer and saving on sales tax makes sense.
Yes the prices i inlcuded where from the bmwconfig site, it included a Training service for $180, I am assuming that is the training fee you are referring to. What are the maco fees and what do they usually run? Thanks |

Maco is a regional marketing fee that dealers pay to BMW, iirc mine was $300. Ask the dealer to show it on their screen to make sure ur only paying the maco, training and nothing more.
