Where can I drive fast?
I live in the Maryland/ Washington dc area and would like to really open up my car. Any ideas? Are there any tracks open to the public?

Summit point and buds creek (MIR) are probably the closest that are easy to get onto. I believe many of the BMWCCA HPDE events are held at Summit Point. I'm not sure what it would take to run at VIR. It would be easy if you were riding an s1000rr instead of the 128 there are a mover of motorcycle classes there and I think it is where the viper club meets pretty frequently.
