08' 535i maintenance questions and cooling systems

Hey guys, I have a 08' 535i with 55000 trouble-free miles, did brake fluid, coolant service, power steering and oil change 4 months ago. I was reading mike miller's maintenance schedule and am going to do a serpentine belt replacement and oil change at around 62k miles. What other things I need to care for?

On the schedule it said to replace water pump and thermostat every 60k miles, and radiator and expansion tank every 90k, are these really needed? I feel that every 60 miles is a little too often, and how much it cost to perform these cooling system maintenance at dealer/Indy? Anyone have bad experience with these system failing? Thanks a lot.

Did you do the spark plugs at 45K? That is part of BMW's regular maintenace. You either follow Mike's schedule or you don't. Unless you want to keep your car past 100K, nothing but regular oi and filter l changes are needed. My water pump got noisy and I had it replaced at 36K. My indie charged $800 including 3 hours of labor. In the end it is your call to make. Our cars, especially the ones with the turbo engines are fairly high maintenance.
