750i Idle Smoking
Hello to ALL!!!!
I have read many of your post, in regards to the 2007 BMW 750i, having smoking issues. First, let me say very good reading and awesome information. I am experiencing those same issues and battling the idea of purchasing an extended warranty ($3700+) or getting it fixed, out of pocket. I really like the car and don't want to part ways with it. Any suggestions? Regg |

white smoke means that you are burning oil and may the sign of failing valve stem seals. Using seafoam may clean them off and restore them. I would suggest putting the seafoam in the oil and driving for about 20-50 miles and then changing the oil. Repeat with cheap dino oil and repeat 2-3 more times.
i have the same problem gents...but with mine i get a small puff of smoke after 4000rpm.its a once off puff until the next time i start my car. some helpfull guys posted what is in my forst paragraph..hope it helps, i havnt tried it, becuses ive got a service booking for this problem on monday. |
