Is The 2013 Nav Update Worth Doing?

The FSC Contact is the same, whether it is 2012 or 2013 Maps.

The 2013 Map may be available on DVD for CIC like it was for 2012, I just have not seen it, so I don't know the Part Number.

I know where you can get the 2012 3-DVD set for your CIC, but not 2013.

Make sure if you do find the 2013 3-DVD set, it is for your CIC, and not the CCC version.

I guess I get to wait until the 2013 (CIC) maps become available via DVD, downloadable that is. I am not going to pay to get a code for the 2012 maps.

Here are the files per DVD.

If you what the files by folder names, that is too much work.

Yeah, it's basically going to be 22 files in 700 MB chunks. You will need 3 Double Density Dual Layer DVD's to burn the images to, which I would use ImgBurn to do.

FYI. The Map Download is for HU_CIC (old iDrive). The new MY 2013 F10's, and maybe the F12's I am not sure, that have HU_NBT (new iDrive) requires entirely different Maps, which I don't know if they are even released yet, but if they are and can be downloaded, the FSC Code Man charges $60 not $50.

If your are not sure which iDrive system you have, you can easily tell by the angled menu system as shown here:
