2013 M Sport Exhaust Tone?

I just picked up my 2013 750Li xDrive yesterday and it is equipped with the M Sport package. When I accelerate there is a noticeably loud exhaust tone(reminds me of the S 63)which there wasn't on my 10 with out sport package. Anyone know if this is indeed a feature of the sport package or just all 2013's have a new sounding exhaust?

Yes, the M Sport Package features a specially tuned exhaust note; but is there any way to retrofit this on a non M Sport Package vehicle? I don't believe there's any difference in parts! How does 'tuning' the exhaust work (what do they do different at the factory)?
