X1 xDrive28 X-Line Jet Black

Picked her up last night in Manhattan. Initial impressions are very positive. Quick pic while out for a drive- detailed review will follow after I put some miles on it.

Couple more pics, and for those considering Terra/High Gloss trim here's a good look at it in the sun. It can look almost black at times, but when the light hts it just right the color comes through. Looks nice in person.

Great to see you've taken delivery of urs as well. Man that was a long wait!

What % tint do u have? The rears look darker than the fronts?

That was a long wait. The tint came out great ( first time I have tinted a car). pictures don't really give an accurate portrayal of the tint. I used Tom from the Artoftint in NYC and he did a great job. The film is Llumar ATC, and is 35% in the back, and 50% on the front two windows.
It's a gradual difference between front and back, and finishes off the car nicely. It also adds some privacy to the back area. You can still see in the back as it's not blacked out.

Can you tell me if that's an accurate photo of the terra leather? It looks MUCH darker on the BMW configurator online, and in their gallery photos (http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...iaGallery.aspx ).

Your photos look much lighter, almost orange.

I just ordered a '14 X1 xLine sapphire black with terra leather, and I'm hoping it's darker than your photos show.
