Minimum Balance and Term for Finance
I plan on ordering an X3 this month and would prefer to just buy it outright but want to take advantage of the Holiday Cash and Loyalty incentives. My CA said I could finance $7500 (and pay for the remainder at delivery), make 4 payments, and then payoff the remainder of the loan. This seems like a nobrainer since I'd only be out about $100 in interest but would get $1750 in credits. I've seen conflicting posts here about prepayment penalties and such. I typically lease but plan on keeping the car a little longer. I know leasing inside and out but have never gone this route before. Anything else I should consider? Can I finance a smaller amount? I'm in Illinois (not sure if each state has their own rules). Thanks!

7500 is the BMWFS minimum. No pre-payment penalty. Just make your 4 payments and you are good.
