What manufacturer for a replacement battery?

I need to replace my battery but am not sure what is the best brand to use. Also how many CCC should the replacement have? Thanks

Consumer Reports rated Napa 84 as the best.

THere was another thread on this site giving just about every battery 'name' and true source. I think it was on the E34 area.

advise staying away from the E34 area at the moment, its another classic bimmerfest war ground right now

My battery would not hold a charge, had to buy one right away and the best available was an ACDelco 700 CCA. Working good now and has a 3 year no questions asked replacement warranty. Thanks for the advice

Good choice, I went with the Ac/Delco as well. My work (Koi Autoparts) sells the hell out of them.

I have the Kirkland from Costco. $64 with 90 month warranty or something like that.

In 2003 I bought a Volvo for my wife. I don't know how old that DieHard was, but it's still strong today. Car can sit for long periods, or driven daily, no matter how cold, it does not lose any power. I bought another one for my other car, and expect the same, it's been only two years. $100 at Sears.
