Carpet removal instructions.
I'm getting water into the cab somehow and it has soaked my carpets, under the passenger seat and passenger rear foot well, driver and passenger front foot wells and a small amount on the drivers rear foot well. Basically I need help removing the carpet. My basic idea is to remove seats, center console, and plastic around the shifter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

yeah thats about it, and rear seat to get the little piece out. I also made sure to have a razor knife to make things a little easier around the center console. My floor and firewall had a bunch of little holes. My front winsheild was also leaking at the bottom of the trim. I made sure to weld in new metal and undercoat the interior floor and underneath, kept my padding out, and re-installed my carpet. Lighter, louder, and less comfort, but no leaks and no ponds on the floor board.

Door opening trims have to come off as well. (The ones at the bottom)

Glove box and driver knee bolster and both kick panels, remove hood pull, seat belt guides...
And you have to decide if you want to cut around the HVAC or pull the dash and heater core and all.

the correct way to remove the carpet is (in addition to the above) you need to remove the heater box as well. however most people will cut around that and leave the carpet under the heaterbox still installed. when you reinstall, the console goes back over the top of the join and noone would ever know.
while the carpet is out, its a great time to waterblast the hell out of it and clean it up a bit and/or dye it
