Nav Update DVD's ... Navtec v. TomTom

I'm still running the original 2007 Navtec disk in my 2007 E60. I see that on EBay I can buy a 2-disk 2012 update which is mapped by TomTom. The EBay description claims it will perform properly on the 2007 E60. Anyone have experience with TomTom on the E60?

I received something via email, from Tom-Tom, regarding the update. I'm going to pass, as I am still running the original disk and have my nav app on my phone as backup. $199 to update, if I remember correctly.

I purchased a 2013 update (Tom Tom) for $50. It's a single disk for the Eastern US. I loaded it easily and the map looks no different from the previous 2007 Navtek. I'm still testing it, but so far, it is disappointing in that my own street is not shown, and a couple of destinations that we used frequently does not appear. We may wind up using the original disk.

Anyone have experience with the current Tom Tom mapping?

Nothing about tomtom but I ordered the 2013 navtec disk over a month ago. I emailed the guy several times each time telling me that it was coming. Then he started getting rude and used !!!!!! In his emails to me. They are a ripoff and I'm refusing payment through my bank today.
