550xi GT with Eagle LS-2 RunOnFlats - Decent for snow?

Currently driving a 550xi GT with Eagle LS-2 RunOnFlats which I believe to be all season tires.

I live in Colorado, and we're starting to get hit hard with snow. So far we've taken two trips up to the mountain, and I thought these performed pretty well. A couple searches around and it looks like these tires might not be highly regarded in the snow.

Will I notice a huge difference by changing to dedicated snow tires?

I called the dealership (lol) and they quoted a range of $3K-4K for snow tires with rims.

If I knew of a good set to get, I'd easily buy off TireRack and arrange a local installer.

Yes, dedicated winter tires are dramatically better on snow and ice compared to all season tires (especially the LS2). We don't have any 18" wheels that clear the brakes on this car, but we do have 18" winter tires and 19" wheel/tire packages.
