2012 Steering Wheel Question

The steering wheel in my (every?) X5 returns to the uppermost position when I shut the car off. I know this is an "easy entry/exit" feature. Can I disable this? It's not hurting anything; I just feel it's unnecessary and I'd rather it just stay where it is.

I don't believe there is a way to disable this, probably you need to keep the wheel all the way up and in so when you turn the car off it doesn't move.

That may not be the most comfortable position tho.

I wondered too if I can turn that feature off. Not sure what's the purpose of that. The steering wheel and the MC seat side deflating after I open the door. Eh, I'll live with it.
