What are your buttons 1-8 set for?

1 - Concierge
2 - Messages
3 - BMW Online
4 - Facebook
5 - Web Radio
6 - Google Search
7- Split Screen - Map facing north
8 - Split Screen - Entertainment

A few comments
- I don't have it set to any phone numbers because I can dial by name using voice command
- I don't have iPhone media because I can use the media button
- I don't use radio much anymore due to the low XM sound quality but I used to have Google Search set as Presets on my previous car

1 - VoIP local access number
2- A Phone number entry from the address book
3- Nav: Home
4- TMPS
5- Oil Level
6- Music Collection (iPod which lives in the arm rest storage compartment and is plugged into the USB port)
7- Sat Radio Presets
8- Split screen on/off



To the ones dedicating a button to the day/ night nav screen mode: there is a setting to have it switch on/ off automatically.

And the ones dedicating buttons to specific scales: buttons are faster, true but I use the voice commands to zoom the nav map in/ out and it works quite well.

Nav - home is a waste. Press voice command and just say "home address". Very quick.

So my 2, 4 and 5 could be replaced with something more useful/ difficult to get to manually or via voice.
