Is this intermittent? My instinct would be to arrange a service appointment.

+1

Had this problem with our X5 when it was brand new. 12 hours after we picked it up sound started disappearing intermittently. After 3 visits to the dealer trying to reproduce and diagnose the problem they identified it was a faulty amp.

Amps have to come from Germany and took 3 weeks for delivery.

Hope your issue is resolved more quickly and effectively.

I had the same problem on a 2010 750i. The AMP - there even was a service bulletin about it for the 2010. It took a day to fix.

Were one to pay out if pocket, how much is a LOGIC 7 BMW amp?

What is their problem in manufacturing a reliable amp?

I had this problem as well and as stated, this is a common problem noted in the service bulletin.
