Driver Seat Stopped
Hi all.
I was working on my 1993 e34 front seat, fixed adjustment cables al was working well. Started putting things back together, seat moving and all that, put rear bolts in and the seat stopped responding to anything, switch does not work at all, not bottom, not back. Tried same switch on the pas. side , works fine, pas side with pas switch, works fine, the seat is stuck in forward position so I can't remove it as the front is not on bolts bit on hook brackets, sort of slide for and up and remove it, with seat forward, cant get it off. Pleeeease tell me there is some simple thing I am overlooking. thanks |

You must have pinched the wire under the seat frame when tightening the bolts.
You can still move the seat manually, instrucionnes here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1742710 |

fixed this
I have figured it out, thanks, for all the posts.
Here it what it was, the fuze went out., I discovered a frayed wire on the switch, it was shorting on the seat sled around the switch and shorting the fuze, so I fixed that and it worked great. Thanks again, little help is always good. |
