Gloss black kidney grilles

Does anyone know for sure if the 2007+ X5 kidney grilles fit the 2013 X5M? I know there hasn't been any changes to the body style but just wanted to make sure before I order through BMW. Thanks!

Ha! Glad to see we're in the same boat...thinking about having my SA order me a set to test out and be the guinea pig if I don't get a confirmation.

I checked Bimmian and Turner and I didn't see any warnings about 2013 or M being different.

Hmm, then I think I'll just go ahead and test the waters then...I'll let you know the results!

I ordered Carbon Black & Black grills from Bimmian. I'll take some pics after the install.

Nice! I just ordered all gloss black grilles...I'll post the same when it's on too!

Yes they will fit. The grills for 2013 are slightly different than the previous version but the cut out is the same. The surround is a little wider on the new version and the slats are wider and have a bend in them. I had a 2010 X5M and had the black grills on but have not installed them on my 2013. 2010 was Saphire Black and the 2013 is Space Gray and not sure I like the look of all black on the gray.

I was going to wait and see if yours fit but decided to take a flyer and ordered them yesterday - hopefully we'll all have nice shiny black grills on our trucks

Bought a set of color-surround grills from Bimmian. Nice products, impressive. Just didn't fit my need on this particular truck. Preferred retaining the more integrated factory bezel (also about 1/8" all around larger). This will show you the differences between the grills (their's) as ordered, that incidentally fit without effort. Bimmian was gracious in allowing a return. Hats off to them! Good group! I carefully removed stock chrome/plastic surround (Feb built Carbon Black X5M). Had my local shop shoot (clear over Carbon Black) and I carefully re-installed...retaining the original surround shape, and considerable thicker angled strakes.

Good for you! I thought about doing this but was too lazy and wasn't sure the local guys would properly prep the chrome for CB paint. I agree the wider bezels look better and still have my stock grills sitting out reminding me to sell 'em or do as you have. How much did your local paint shop charge?

How about some pics of the CB stock grills installed on your truck?
