Can someone tell me what this plug is for? Just curious!

I was installing a Dice Interface in my 06 X5 and it wasn't charging the iPod so I checked the fuse in the right rear panel. I noticed this plug with this stamp BMW 1 378 110 AMP 1-927 507-1
