How can you tell if you have a 95 thermostat? Or a 105c? some guy on eBay said he sell only 95c thermo???

You would think that would be information he would want to include in his listing...that its 95 degree tstat.

Ask him if he has anything proving its 95, and not 105 which is what our tstats come in.

This one is for m62, I tried kinda closer to oem look, so you don't need any plates.

SFbay,looking at the two it looks like the tstat itself has the same dimensions ?Can the actual tstats be swapped in the housings?Also I was reading M62 had a 95c and 85c temps?Thanks SFbay for that last pic !

Nope, it doesn't fit at all, I'm using Mazda or smth I found in radiator shop, but still not perfect had to machine to fit inside.
The best solution is to find cheap car parts maker and order like a 100 of them so we get a good price and hassle free

Question what if we make a few small holes, with a very thin drill bit all around tstact???

I just order a new tstact so that I can play around too to c what will work? I have a friend that works at autozone maybe I can play with his stock of tstact to try and find a match????

Don't drill holes!!! It's a redneck method to screw the system
Holes won't do anything good, it's not enough for good flow and it will be bubbling making aux to spin when not needed.

SF has already figured it out, he mentioned above it's a mazda tstat but we have to get a machine shop to make it work. I will check around tomorrow and see what a shop around here will charge me.

I have confirmed my cooling issue is the fan. I tested my fan on INPA and it spins up to a mediocre RPM.. I had Wijji make a movie of his which is also not running to great and his fan absolutely SCREAMS compared to mine.

Mazda? What year and model? Engine?

It won't help with lower hose temp though. I'd better spend 600$ on the pipe
