New member, new car

Hi all,

New to Bimerfest, excited about exploring more of the threads. My girlfriend and I are currently have a 2001 325ci, but are looking to upgrade to a newer xdrive model. The car we have in mind is a 2009 328i with 68000 miles, posted HERE. We talked the dealer down to 20k. Any suggestions / words of advice on this year / model? Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance._a_

Well ended up getting the car yesterday. It is a one owner lease return, with all service done at BMW. Car comes from Texas, so no road salt. I have all the service records, which seem to be great. The dealer replaced all fluids as well as 4 new pads and rotors. It does need tires, something ill be doing today. Here is a quick pic I took yesterday, ill get some better ones today.

Thanks guys. Love the car. Picked up 4 new Yokohama all season's and am getting it aligned now. Went to the BMW dealer to get new wiper blades and discovered something interesting. If you buy them together it costs 60 bucks, buy buy them separately and the total cost is only 34 bucks.

Do you have a list of the fluids changed?

Do you have a list of the fluids changed?
Its not common for them to do all the fluids as they are lifetime.
But its a good idea to do them anyway according or close to the
Mike Miller old school schedule .
Google Mike Miller BMW for the schedule you are suppose to email him
for the latest version but you might find it on line in that search.

I took a closer look at the paperwork, all fluids were checked at BMW dealer, only oil was changed.
