I wasn't sure if this is available somewhere, i couldn't find it easily. I hope this helps others looking for this info.
I have the 535i w sports package, so the rear wheels are a different size than the front. I had the Dunlop 275/35 R 18 Speed rating 95Y RFT. I had a flat tire, a blade literally tore thru my RFT, so it was an immediate flat tire (the RFT does not really help if there is a damn hole thru it )I tried looking at local providers (discount tires, pepboys, NTB) websites, but couldn't get a good estimate for an RFT. So I took it to the dealer, they charged me a grand total of $625 to replace on rear tire. If others have had experience replacing the RFTs at local dealers please let me know how much it cost, and if it is worth the hassle? |

RFT wasn't worth it for me, and the dealer wanted 1k just to change the two rears, but I only needed one. So I went to a local tire shop and got Bridgestones RE960 for a lot less. I figure if it gets flat, I have triple A and I'll be able to repair it.

RFT's suck and they are expensive. The least expensive place I have found them at was America's tires and they were almost $500 a tire.

If I still had mine I would give them away for free.
I just dumped them the minute I got the car home after buying it. Didn't think that someone might need them. Hopefully they made sandals out of them or something.

They are 1700 on TIre Rack for a full set- then figure shipping, mounting and balancing for another 200. Very expensive for a lousy tire.
After 26k miles, my Dunlops are shot. Been thinking about the Pirelli P6 All Season. Anyone using that tire?

Go with the Michelin super sports (while still expensive its still about 1/2 the price of run flats at the dealer)
