Bluetooth / phone setup

My X3 has BMW assist and I read somewhere that because if this it also has the bluetooth module already installed. So, how do I use it? How you set up a cell phone for hands free talking through the car?

Depends on the year of your car. Some early X3s had assist without Bluetooth.

Thanks for the video. It explained everything for me and I got it setup in no time.

I have another question now: Can you pair multiple phones?

I've came across a problem with pairing my fiance's phone. It setup mine with no problem, but her's, which is a cheap motorola, it just will not completely setup. It paired with the phone with no problem but when loading the phonebook it just keeps going and going and going. I let it sit for over an hour and it still said "Loading Phonebook". I guess I'll have to get her a new phone or something.

I don't think so but I'll go through and check and report what happens later.
