software updated!!

my transmission was shifting a little hard so i took it to my independent tech and he said i should try updating the software. so i did and WOW!! what a diffference car shifts as smooth as butter now i have an 07 with 29,376 miles. also had the oil changed and brake fluid changed while it was there. car is like brand new now lol!! les than $300 for all that.

only 30k miles (in 6 years) and you had tranny issues? wow.. unless you forgot to put a 1 in front of the 2?

no thats correct bought it from a bmw dealer had only 25,882 when i purchased it. tranny didn't slip or anything just when i hit accelerator i could feel 1 and second gear shift a liitle harder than i thought it should. and i am not heavy footed.

My 2008 does the same, 1-2 shift is really hard compared to any other shift. I've got 43k. Did you just update it at the dealer?

yes just updated the software to the latest version
