My wife has a 80mi round trip commute and she averages 47mpg which is a heck of a lot of difference than the e46 was. She routinely says she could care less about the environment she just wants more money for beer instead of petrol.

Kudos for putting the jerks in their place. Although, he could be arrested for armed robbery since he used the gun to take the camera.

I have had to pull a gun twice. Once, during an attempted carjacking in downtown Indpls., and again when a carload of thugs chased me down at night similar to the video.

I did notice the Toyota emblem on the steering wheel. These guys were not the typical 'Yota owners.

I still catch up to the car because they go so slow. The only way I can avoid him/her is to leave 30 minutes earlier or later.

Hahahaha I feel your pain!!! They are the same way out here in PA. As others have said is like they feel entitled to ride the fast lane...maybe their POS feels like they are doing 100MPH at 50?? And when you pass them they look at you like if you are a maniac!

I think this video sums it up for all of us here lol

I live in a small farming town 25 miles north of Nashville. There are monster trucks and lots of good ol boys who drive them, but they all seem pretty cool and friendly.

I don't have a carry permit and thank God have never needed a gun on the road, but I had a friend who had to scare a road rage freak away by pointing his 44 Magnum at him. After seeing the video and reading your story, I might re-think my carry permit status. My 9 might come in handy sometime.

I think that same dumbass tried that to me once... so I gunned it in front of him and made it... what a tool.

I dislike them for a completely different reason - because they are sneaky little bastards... When they are running on battery power, they sneak up on you in parking lots like there is no tomorrow.

I frankly don't care if you drive a slow pos that's from any make. Just don't feel obligated to impose your slowdown and block technique to piss people off; especially the fast lane. That just shows no consideration for other drivers.

Most of the time, its not malice that makes the left lane hogs so annoying - they just are clueless that they are pissing others off. That's why they sometimes react so aggressively to people that pass on the right - they were doing "nothing wrong" when you roared by and cut in front of them.

It is difficult to drive with your eyes closed!

Maybe it's a California thing. We must have the worst drivers in the country here, and I don't find Prius drivers any worse than SUV drivers.

BMW SUV drivers who toss cigarette butts out of their windows are the worst.

It's just that certain type of people tend to buy certain type of cars.
Quite any car sold out there is able to brake speed limits, and even handling shouldn't be problem in normal traffic, it's the driver who to blame.
