first upgrage...

Got my fogs updated to match color today....Cree leds no codes and color matches perfect....

Where did you get them? Brand, model and retailer if possible. Did you do the install yourself? Was it hard to do? Did this on my Benz the hardest part was jacking up the front all the screws that had to be removed to take down the plastic cover underneath.

Super easy, just snap off grill around fog light. I found link I found link on forum " Cree 20 watt led bulbs" the one I bought are 40 watt and came with resistor modules so not to set codes. I went to amazon an searched for best price.... 80 or so dollars....

FYI- I hope you don't have fog in OK... The yellow actually helps cutting through it.

I replaced the fogs to match color of halos and head lights.....

How is the pattern on the road at night?

So you order these 20w LEDs and the shipped you the 40w version?

H8 and H11 bulbs have sams socket . Link shows halo bulbs but they work great down low as well......

Yes.... ordered 20 watt and when they arived they were 40..... I posted pics of the instructions below pics of lights installed....

So did you order the H8 or the H11? I would like to do this as well.

As far as I can tell H 8 and H 11 use same base. The ones I installed are H8 and worked fine

How did u snap off the front grill to get to your fogs? Pic's? I've been having a hard time trying to do mine and afraid it's going to break. Thx

I used a hook tool and started at the top corner....

Once you get the grill off trere are 2 8mm bolts on the bottom of the light assembly. Remove bolts then there is a tab on the back top of the light push the tab up and th ligh slides out the front to disconnect tht connector.....

Nvm, I end up just twisting the light bulb harness, pulled it out then squeezed the tabs to replace the bulbs. Thx again for your help.

How do you guys like the lights... Driven at night with them yet?

Just to clarify (since I do not have the car yet). The fog lights are normally yellowish-white but the halo ring and the headlights are normally the led white color like the ones you installed in the fog lights? Or are the halo ring, headlights and fog lights all normally yellowish?

That post says HID fog lights whereas the ones in this thread are LED
