Problem Sending Destinations to Car from Google Maps

Hi everyone, I have noticed when using Google Maps (on a PC not a phone), if I search for a destination, when it comes up I can use Send option to send to my car's Nav, but if I select one of 'My Places' in Google Maps, I can only 'Send' to an email address. Anybody else noticed this bug and any solution?

Thanks.

It's not a feature that's available from My Locations unfortunately.

Two choices:

1. Search for the destination in the normal Google Maps, working around My Places.

2. Pull up the destination in My Places, copy the address, paste it into the search box, Send To Car from the map that comes up.

Thanks BJ, strange bug, but in Google not BMW to blame. Funny thing is I can't remember it from before, probably because I usually use the iPhone app for this.

Send To Car is not something that Google "officially" supports, so it doesn't appear in any of their apps or PC derivatives. They've left it behind in the standard Google Maps, fear being that if any time they decide to upgrade basic Maps they may eliminate it altogether.

Would be a shame as I use the PC to send the destinations to the car more than I do the BMW App.

Truth is, if the Siri integration happens we'll finally have what we want- a way to speak in a natural voice to the car for 99% accuracy. The current BMW voice for entering addresses is just awful.
