RFT Tire Replacement

I have a 2008 335xi sedan w/sport package. Came equiped with Bridgestone Potenza RE50A summer performance tires. Mostly concerned about short tire life on the originals which I have replaced once. Looking to replace with Bridgestone Potenza RE960 A/S Pole Postion RFT season tires. Bridgestone tire site says that tire is not compatible. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge on this?

Go by tirerack. Michelin's site says the Pilot A/S Plus aren't compatible with the 335i and tirerack says different, and they're on my car now.

Call the Tire Rack. Why wouldn't they be compatible? Because they cost less, have longer treadwear (and a written warranty), all season design...softer riding, and are Bridgestone's highly anticipated 3rd Gen RF? What's the problem!
