Blank Hole in Inner Fender-01 Z3MR
Blank Hole in Inner Fender
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After removing the front fender liners I noticed a hole in the inner panel at rear ( firewall side) on both lt. & rt. side about 4- 5 " from bottom. It looks as if a rubber gromet should be there but seeing as its the same on both sides I'm not sure! Anyone know if these are left open from factory? I would hate to plug them without knowing for sure. Thanks Wayne

Based on the first minute of this video, those openings could be for the wires to the ABS and brake fluid sensors to each wheel:
