Dinan bracket to Powerdyne for an e36?
Ok folks. I am looking for some insight regarding mounting a powerdyne charger to a dinan bracket that I picked up. When buying it I assumed that the bracket would fit my car without too much trouble as its for an M3 and I have seen a similar setup on both the s52 and the m50.
I have an obd 1 M50. Im going to be running no intercooler for a few months. My goal is 5-6psi on a quietly styled 94 325. Im looking at the difference between the two and it appears that the bolt holes do not match up (There are more on the PD) and the angle on the Dinan bracket seems to swing out to the right at a 45 degree angle. Any pitfalls I should know about? Should I run 6 psi with stock internals and injectors will my car go explode like it was kicked by Master Shake? I was figuring on bringing it to a machine shop and having them drill the needed holes, picking up a crank pulley online (5.25 I think?), 3.3 blower pulley, place the MAF ahead of the blower, boost guage and done for the time being. Just to be clear I am not lookin g to set the world ablaze and all that ****. Just looking to bring the 3 into the modern world of acceleration. If my math is correct (which it probably is not) I should be putting down around 240 to the wheels (thoughts on this are welcome) . I have been reading up for weeks but reading and doing are two very different things. Thanks in advance.
