Whistling noise on X3

Anyone of the X3 owners here have experimented whistling noise starting 80MPH? Very loud whistling noise.
This is worst with the roof rack (BMW bar actually) as the noise start fom 40Mph !

Any advise are welcome !

Is it with the roof open or closed? Mine is loud over 70 with the roof open, but it's not a problem since i dont' really want the roof open then.

I had a previous car with a bike rack which was really loud, but better with a faring. I don't think there's anything we can do about it since a rack or bar obstructing the flow of air will always cause some sort of noise.

Can you at least humm to the tune?

I have read, on other boards, that some dealers are attempting to fix via retaping the windshields. No follow up positings, yet, on whether this fixes the problem.
