both rear door locks and rear window saftey button

Hi all! All of my locks work manually and can open all doors. When I use the key to lock and unlock the doors only the the drivers lock and front passenger lock move up and down electronically? Both rear locks will only work when used manually. I can unlock the car, open either front door and reach around and manually pull up and open the rear doors.
Is this a fuse/relay problem? Any suggestions?
The rear window safety button in center console does not work either. Can these issues be related? All the windows still go up and down with electronic controls.
Help needed.
Thanks!

The first thing that comes to mind is a possible fault in the general module.

That's under the seat correct?
Any idea about the rear window safety button?

Yes. It's under the seat. Since the GM also controls windows, it may be the cause of that as well or it may be a bad switch.

Make sure the GM is fully seated and that there is no corrosion at its contact pins.

MAke sure you disconnect the battery before removing the general module, it may get damaged by removing it while power is still going through it.

The next step after that would be to remove the rear door panels and check for voltage at the actuator connector when locking/unlocking.

+1 on terminal corrosion and bad earths. Are there signs some PO has 'fixed' the electrics? Some people don't repair to appropriate standards...........
