Well, dropped my six off yesterday for the second oil leak this month - not sure yet if it relates to the vacuum pump replacement they did a few weeks ago to fix the last oil leak. They gave me a "little" loaner - a red 2013 128i vert... not a bad drive... very light, tight, snappy and fun to drive with the inline six. Though not a gt sport cruiser like my six.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to me as I said earlier. I changed my vac pump seals thinking it was only that then a short time after the oil sending unit which is right under it went too. Easy fix hope it is a simple one so you can get her back home where she belongs.

Good guess Nitrogen but not this time. Got my six back today and the leak was from a cracked tranny pan - dealer replaced pan, seals, etc. under CPO. Since I had her in the shop a few weeks ago for an unrelated oil leak fixed by replacing the vacuum pump/seals, my SA even waived the $50 CPO fee. So, I'm a happy camper in that the only cost was tippng my SA.
Now, if I can just get the rest of the seals/gaskets to fail in the next 7 months remaining under CPO, then I will be set for another couple of years...
