used 05 530i?
I've been looking through this form for quite some time now and love it! I bought a e46 earlier this year and was looking to get another vehicle.
I was searching through craigslist and found a decently priced e60. The vehicle has around 80k miles on it and the owner said that it just needs a new a control arm and an alignment with some cosmetic damage. It the car a good buy? heres the link http://memphis.craigslist.org/cto/3476412913.html_a_ |

Proceed with caution. Definitely get a PPI from a reputable independent BMW specialist. If it checks out good and you like the look and mods, it very well could be a decent buy.

Those mods are not my cup of tea as I prefer the car bone stock. However if you like it, check the carfax as at that price this could be a salvaged title. A control arm and alignment shouldn't be that expensive. Check for oil leaks, CCV blockage, codes, brakes, tires, etc. Ask for service records and see when the cooling system was done. The M54 engine needs a new water pump, hoses, expansion tank, etc around that mileage and if you can DIY you will be fine, if not it can get expensive really fast.
