Can I trickle charge my batt while connected ?

Can I trickle charge my batterie on my 2002 745i while its connected to the vehicle or should I disconnect he terminals?

If the dealers trickle charge their batteries without removing the terminals, I assume it's OK for you to do the same.

Don't use a trickle charger, use a Battery Tender or equivalent. A trickle charger may overcharge the battery.

If you use a setup like the BMW Advanced charging system you'll be fine. HERE is a link to the two different systems, one you hook to the cars battery the other you simply plug into the 12v accessories plug.
