I cannot find where this connects anywhere:
I have searched everywhere to try and find where this connects:
 To the back of the manifold somewhere? And just to make sure, does this in fact connect to the fuel tank vent valve?

The hose in the first pic connects to a vacuum nipple on the back left side of the intake manifold. On my car it clips to the firewall and then loops forward to the IM nipple.
