Head gasket
Hi I'm new on here and looking for a little guidance!
I have a 2008 123d msport and my head gasket as gone, I am going to change the head gasket myself as I'm good with tools but I just wondered if there was any timing marks for the chain? Also does anyone know the head torque procedure and tighteness? Also any hints or tips you guys have for this particular vehicle? Any help would be apprieciated Kind regards dan

I wouldn't attempt it without a manual. Could you get a Bently for the same motor in the 3 series, for instance? You need to know torque but also sequence of loosening and tightening, I suspect. You may also need to replace fasteners for reassembly.

Hi does anyone know where I could get a copy if s workshop manual as Haynes don't do one for this engine?
