Another speaker question....
Hi all,
I have read the wiki and searched the forums, but I cannot find an answer for my particular car. I have 2001 325i four door sedan, with the basic business stereo set up. What I see are two speakers in each front door (four total), one speaker in each rear door (two total) and two speakers in the rear deck, for a total of eight speakers. The speakers sound like crap (blown?) and I would like to find comparable replacements. I do not need to spend a bunch of money upgrading, I would simply like a reasonable solution... So I ask, do any of you fine folks have a recommendation as to what to do? Respectfully, dlib |

. Cheapest way to do it. If you need one I have a friend who owns one and he can probably help you out.

Buy new surrounds at soundwerks and fix them yourself...it is very easy for about 20 to $30 bucks max for all speakers...did mine yars ago and still sound original.
http://www.speakerworks.com/speaker_..._kits_s/65.htm BTW...you should only need to fix the 2 in the front door and the 2 in the rear deck...the other tweeters seem to hold up. Last edited by QAfred; 01-04-2013 at 05:36 PM. |
