Problem with bluetooth software update

Hi, i download from BMW website the new software update, using the last 7 digits on my BMW x3 F25. When i put usb drive with FAT32 to my car and follow on menu software update there write: Software on USB device incompatible with this vehicle. For more indormation... How can i solve that? I use 3 different usb, same problem.

I think the USB device needs to be formatted with FAT32 file format (both windows and mac should be able to format in this manner).

Also, I have had issues using SANDISK brand USB drives for this type of thing. If the USB has any sort of built in software (like security software, or backup software etc), I recommend formatting it to remove all built in software.

Check to make sure the version on the website is actually newer than the one in your car. Dealers sometimes update the software and it can be a newer version than the one on the website. Other than that and making sure the files are at the root of the USB (instead of in a folder) I dont think there is anything else I can help you with, sorry.

I used to get that a few versions ago and just gave up. The next version that came out I had no problem installing.
