Trunk opens then closes - Bimmerfest

I have a 2003 760Li, the trunk opens, but then closes right back, is there anything I can do to prevent this? Thanks!

Yes!! Replace your trunk struts

Kinda, but you need to remove those trunk panels, right and left,
Then you'll see struts with coils, very inconvenient to remove, but once you removed it, new ones are easy to install.
