Phatom II Radar Jammer: Does it work

Just curious. You guys read anything about this? Does it work?

Radar Jammer Review Link

I have a V1 on my 2002 330xi, but was wondering if this something useful for complementing my detector?

Thanks.

The link above has this note on the end:

Legal in every state except California, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Virginia, Nebraska, and Washington, D.C.

My 2003 330xi cuts out at 130mph consistantly. I don't drive that speed on the interstate regularly, but I had to try. It's pretty obvious to tell that the car goes much faster than that because there's so much room left on the RPM and the rate of acceleration to that speed is so very easy.

Were you using a jammer when you lost your license? And how long before you can drive again? BTW, what car did you take up to 165? I think I might actually be too scared to even try that.

active jammers are illegal anywhere, passive jammers are not, but they don't work.

ah yes
forgot there were two kinds... (probably did but since the passive ones indeed do not work were passed off as vapor ware)

94% effectiveness for the Escort and BEL is pretty bloody good.

I will take not getting 19 of 20 laser tickets, especially considering that detection only tells you pull over and get your license and registration out.
